If you only have a single day in Amsterdam, you can have a triple good time.
Some dinner at Foodism
Her adventures on that terrific day in Amsterdam can be found here. She writes about her evening with us:
The dinner at Foodism was simply some of the best I have ever had. Ever.
They specialise in contemporary Mediterranean style tapas and they succeed. From the parmigiana coated in the richest of tomato sauces to the meatiest and smokiest of salmon; every bite was a party for the palette.
Spending a night in Amsterdam
The other great tip by Charli & Tom is staying at the Lucky Lake Hostel. Although the hostel a bit far from our district, it saves your budget for further travels. Which fits our philosophy: A great time doesn’t have to put a dent in your wallet.
Like Charli & Tom, many of our guests rent a bike and criss-cross the city. Such rides make the vibrant daily life of Amsterdam an even more memorable experience. So try one from Macbike and find your path to Westerpark.
Whether you’re on a budget or on a roll: The Amsterdam nights will keep you floating. For instance in a bed on a local houseboat. And there’s a penultimate tip. Check out our neighbours from Hugo’s Houseboat.
Drop by for dinner at Foodism
We love to follow your adventures Charli. And we thank you again for you wonderful blog.
To all the backpacked and trolleyd foodies out there: Do drop us a line when you’re around!
